The village of Oroklini sits inland between the town of Larnaca and the holiday resort of Ayia Napa. Parts of the village have been restored to their original traditional style and with dining out being at the heart of village social life you can enjoy some of these fine rustic restaurants.

Within a few minutes drive of the village is the sandy bay of Yannathes beach, which is the main beach for the Oroklini area. Along with Yannathes Beach, five other beaches in the Larnaca district are proud recipients of the blue flag award. Of interest to scuba divers is the Zenobia dive site, where a capsized ferry of 172 metres sank off the Larnaca coastline in 1980 and now rests on her port side in approximately 40 metres of water. This site has been named as one of the top ten wreck diving sites in the world.
